HOLLOW

BLACKHOLE

HOLLOW (2022) and BLACKHOLE (2022) exist as a pair. Where HOLLOW maneuvers death, and the folds that surround the infinite - BLACKHOLE questions birth, and the tiring repetition of meaning-making.

The videos draw content from dark spaces of the internet such as online conspiracy theories and chat room archives to investigate how the digital realm forms as well as alienates us from our material compositions.

Each video follows sentient digital characters - in HOLLOW a photogrammetry scan of a tombstone and two pilgrim puppets, in BLACKHOLE, an anthropomorphized ASMR video. The digital artifacts examine themselves and their environment as replete with ghosts, breaking through the false dichotomy of reality vs. virtuality.
